As if you couldn’t tell, I’m so happy that the weekend is here! Was it me or did this week go by super slow?! I’m ready to get some rest, have a Downton Abbey marathon and see my girlfriends and play catch up as I’ve been a bit behind on all three things. Anyway, onto the outfit!

I visited Old Navy last weekend because I wanted to add another pair of colored denim to my wardrobe and low and behold! This polka dotted beauty was waiting for me within feet from the denim tables.  Those who love fashion would know that once you see something you like and start creating outfits in your head with everything you have in your wardrobe, you better buy that piece! Otherwise, if you leave the store empty-handed, you know you’ll regret it! So naturally, this chambray top came home with me and I’ve been obsessed with it as you can tell since I also wore it in my Color Effect post. For this look, I REALLY went out of my comfort zone and wore all blue, but I wasn’t too comfortable yet to do head-to-blue, hence the black heels to break it up a bit.

I seriously can’t wait to experiment with more color as 2013 collections start making their debut in my favorite stores. I’m yearning for Spring with all the neons and pastels I’m currently seeing and this is coming from a girl who loves winter!
