Happy Weekend, everybody!
I’m so glad it’s Friday! This weekend, I plan on putting up some artwork in my apartment, rearranging things, putting furniture together and finally, take the painter’s tape off my accent wall. You can look at me weird. It’s okay. I’ve had that tape up since November and it’s only because I don’t have a ladder tall enough to reach it to take it down myself. Well, my best guy friend will be doing the honors this weekend, haha!

I thought I’d give you another glimpse of my trip to the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens about a month ago while I share my outfit. I love winter, don’t get me wrong, but I seriously can’t wait for Spring to arrive so I can dress in brights like this neon blouse I got from Express during the Fall season.

Okay, I admit that I can’t wait for Spring to arrive so I can make another trip to this beautiful garden. I mean, if it’s this pretty now when everything around it is dead, I can only imagine how many colorful blooms I’ll see in the next few months!

On this day, it started off being a bit chilly, so layered my blouse with a faux fur vest and belted it to keep my look more polished. As the hours went by, the temperature started rising, so off my vest and belt went! I kind of liked the simplicity of a blouse, skinny jeans with a dainty necklace and some sparkly shoes. Very comfortable to walk around in!

This next photo is possibly my favorite of the trip that Rachel took. I love the angle, the reflections in the water, the sunlight peeking on the rocks, and how she captured a moment I had with Sarah while we were enjoying the gigantic Koi fish.

Speaking of huge Koi fish, I’m not kidding when I say that they aren’t afraid to approach you. I’m also not kidding about their size either, haha!

If you’re in the DFW area, I highly recommend visiting this gorgeous attraction. It’s so peaceful if you want to go alone and romantic if you want to bring your loved one(s). You can definitely get in touch with the wild and be more aware of the sounds of nature.
